UConn EWB Hosted a Regional Conference

Recently, the UConn chapter of Engineers without Borders hosted a conference in conjunction with Pratt and Whitney and various universities. We had professionals from the Hartford and New London chapter, as well as a brand new New Haven chapter. Furthermore, we had numerous universities make the trip to Storrs; Fairfield University, Boston University and Yale University are just a few to name. February 4th was an enriching day where chapter members were able to collaborate in break-out sessions and work towards everyone bettering their organization with help from others. Oak Hall was a spectacular venue with the large lecture hall being employed for mass presentations and the smaller classrooms providing comfortable discussion areas. This conference was a complete success with about 70 people attending and everyone having a positive learning experience. Throughout the day as members attended various sessions there was also a film-making hands-on session occurring and we were lucky enough to come away with this spectacular video: https://youtu.be/gF5uyfrIapA . Many thanks to all that attended, supported and worked on this fulfilling day; we are already excited for next year!
